Abyss Eye starring Mega Darkrai ex has been officially revealed! It will release in Japan on May 22nd as their M5 set.

To coincide with today’s new moon, the set was revealed four hours later than usual — at 6 PM in Japan — after the official website already posted its usual weekly updates at 2 PM local time. A clever marketing move!
There will be 81 cards in Abyss Eye‘s main set. Based on this size, there should be 35 to 40 secret rares, for a rough total of 120 cards like its predecessors Nullifying Zero and Ninja Spinner.
Following an announcement from Creatures earlier this year about rising material costs, this will be the first set to see the price of booster packs increase from 180 yen to 200 yen. Booster boxes will also increase from 5,400 yen to 6,000 yen.
We first discovered Abyss Eye through trademarks 10 months ago and posted preliminary information two months ago.
We will get the cards from Abyss Eye in our English Pitch Black set on July 17th. No information or product images have been revealed yet. Pitch Black will again be a nearly 1:1 adaptation of the Japanese set, meaning it too will be small.
Thanks goes to Toine L. for the translations!
